Kyle Rayner and Hal Jordan
Here you see pictured the mating dance of a Lantern. Notice the unnecessary beams of light coming from their rings -these, much like the colorful feathers of the peacock, are meant to display their fine-tuned control over the enormous power of the ring.
As you can see, the Green Lantern has approached the White Lantern, sparing no effort from the very beginning -already he is showing off his flexibility and package. Later on in their dance, if the White Lantern’s interest does not fade, the Green Lantern may go to greater lengths to prove his worthiness as a mate, even performing an act known to scientists as Mulier Potestatem or the “Empowered Woman”. In this act, the aggressor will bend their body in such a way that both the buttocks and the pecs/breasts are facing the same direction. This is not only a powerful indicator of their flexibility, but also a way of “showing off the goods”, so to speak.
